Eating healthy is something that a lot of parents want to teach their children. However, given the number of food that children eat today, vegetables became unpopular. How do you make your children choose vegetables? First, you need to make sure that you are going to be eating vegetables to normalize the presence of vegetables in your home. Next, you don’t want to shock the senses if you are going to feed them with veggies. You want to introduce one or two vegetables. Also, might as well go for the ones that don’t taste bad. This will make sure that they get to love the vegetables first and then they can explore different vegetables.
At times, it might also work if you are going to combine fruits with vegetables. This will help them eat because fruits tend to be sweet and are easy to incorporate in a child’s diet.
And of course, if your children tend to still give you a difficult time, you can always use rewards. Perhaps, they can only get to eat ice cream after dinner if they have completed the vegetables that you served in the dinner table.
