“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.” –Sir John Lubbock
As wives, moms and homemakers we rarely truly have time off, but we all need down time once in awhile. A time to relax and be refreshed when we become weary. Or to avoid burn-out.
Rest is not idleness, it’s a time of renewal.
So, in case you need it… I give you permission to take the day off. I encourage you to get off the computer, forget about housework and spend time with your family. Labor Day only comes once a year, so celebrate by relaxing, enjoying moments of repose, and creating memories with the ones you love.
Happy Labor (FREE) Day!

We are about to head to the park and then Chick-fil-a with Daddy. Loving our extra day with him!

Hope you had a great time… I love Chick-fil-A!
It’s funny how often I need to be reminded that rest is best. Thank you for doing just that! Praying you get the rest you need, too, friend!
