Since moving into our house in October, we’ve had quite a few unannounced visitors (i.e. salespeople, JW missionaries, etc.) come to the door. I seriously about cried one of the times the doorbell rang as I was trying to get my almost-asleep-toddler down for a nap. As an exhausted pregnant mother, I wanted a nap too! We didn’t end up having nap time that day….
After that happened I decided to make a sign to put on the door. Naps are especially sacred in this household and must be protected. For everyone’s sake. I really don’t think people want a sleep-deprived mama-bear answering the door. 😉
I figured I’m not the only mother with little ones that has this problem, so I decided to share this printable with you! Just click on the image to print off your own copy and tape it to your front door. I hope it will help you keep a nap-friendly, peaceful atmosphere in your home!
How do you handle nap time interruptions?
