A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of what I was making for dinner and had a couple of requests for the recipe. So, here it is! This stir fry recipe is super simple and tasty; not to mention a quick meal for busy nights, especially if you already have the meat and rice prepared in advance.
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 8 oz. pkg of frozen stir-fry vegetables (or any veggies, really)
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. seasoning salt
- ½-1 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- soy sauce, to taste
- 2 c. cooked rice
- Brown beef in a large skillet and drain, if needed.
- Add seasonings to taste.
- Mix in frozen vegetables.
- Fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring often.
- Mix in cooked rice.
- Season with soy sauce and enjoy!
One thing I especially appreciate about this meal is that you can use leftover meat, rice and veggies for a quick and easy dinner. Just grab whatever you have in your fridge, season to taste, stir fry it all together and serve to your hungry family. Yum! 🙂
