Having the Right Motive Behind Our Resolutions

heart to heart 500

Hello and welcome to Heart to Heart Conversations! I’m so glad you’re here. This is where I weekly (for the most part) share what God has been teaching me or something that has been on my mind and heart that I would like to share with you. It may get messy sometimes, but that’s how life often is, right? Be sure to jump into the conversation by leaving a comment. They make me smile. :)

Today’s Scripture Reading

“Oh God, You are my God; I shall seek you earnestly
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and weary land where these is not water.
Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because You lovingkindness is better than life.
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.”
Psalm 63:1-5

    Jenni, enjoyed your vlog. I think it’s rather easy for us to get caught up in checking off lists whether instead of really focusing on our relationship with the Savior. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed weekend.

    Loved Piper’s quote–really fits (as did the whole post) with my goal for the year: Less of me,..more of God.

    Thanks for the vlog and your heart to love God more in 2013. That’s my heartbeat too, Jenni and I appreciate your encouragement on this. Let’s pray that God works in our hearts and ministries in huge ways. :)
