Dwell On These Things {Scripture Printable}

book to brain blue

In light of the phrase I’m living by this year, I have several goals that I am working toward. Some require a modification in routine, others demand time and determination. All of them require a change in my mindset. It is impossible to transform our actions without first renewing our mind.

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” -Romans 12:1-2

One of the ways I am doing this is by memorizing Scripture. In order to me keep my mind focused on the correct things, I decided to start with Philippians 4:8. I’m a bit of a word nerd, so I often look up key words in Bible verses in order to gain a better understanding of what the verse is saying.

So, today I just wanted to leave you with this verse…

May our thoughts be pleasing to the Lord and may our minds be transformed in order to bring Him glory in all that we do.

What are you dwelling on today?

    great verse, and great motto!!! I’ve been putting scripture around the house on notecards, taped to cabinets, our bathroom door, mirror, bedroom door, front door, laundry room door, in places that we frequent daily. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, so I am being purposeful in submerging myself in scripture throughout the day.

      So true! I am beginning to do that again too. I heard a trick of having memory verses in a baggie taped to the shower wall. I am SO going to use that idea because some days it’s the best time for me to focus and ponder the Word.! :)
