Did you know that you can share the Good News of Jesus Christ using a Candy Cane? According to folklore, this popular Christmas candy was created by a Christian candymaker in the 18th century when Christianity was banned from public forum in certain areas of Europe. The candymaker prayed to find a way to share the true meaning of Christmas with children and was given the inspiration to create the Candy Cane as a tool to share the Gospel. Later, someone came up with the following poem to help people remember what the Candy Cane represents.
